Rigoberto Garcia Navarro migrated to the United States in 1993 from the highlands area of Jalisco, Mexico in search for a better life. From the moment he arrived in Sonoma County, he began working for a local landscaping company.
Over the course of 10 years working for a local landscaping company he gained experience, knowledge, and expertise on the trade. In his after hours, Rigo and his wife Berta would humbly knock on surrounding neighbors front doors and offer them lawn & garden care services. By the year 2003, Rigo had organically created his own lawn & garden maintenance clientele and began his journey as a sole proprietor and small business owner of Rigos Landscaping.
Rigo Landscaping, is the epitome of family business. Throughout the years he had his wife and two sons, Alexis & Rigo Jr, help out with the function of the business. His wife would help out with all financial & administrative work. On the weekends and holidays the boys and wife would accompany Rigo to help with landscaping work. This created the foundation to what Rigo Landscaping is today
Passing Down the Knowledge
Rigo Jr, has always admired his father’s work working alongside him for the course of his lifetime. He understood that due to his parent’s sacrifices and hard work their family has gratefully been taken care of. In 2018 Rigo Jr decided to work full time with his father in hope to gain the same knowledge, experience, and expertise as his father did too when he was his age. All while, being a full time college student at a local community college, then going off to graduate and obtain his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside.
Upon graduation in 2024, Rigo Jr quickly obtained his landscaping contractor license. With the objective to continue growing the family business and being able to provide and expand their landscaping services to new horizons.
Today
Rigo Landscaping is owned and operated by, Rigoberto Garcia Carranza Jr. The company continues to provide clean, honest, and expertise landscaping service. It continues to instill its core values of hard work, honesty, and family into every job, employee, and client in order to never lose sight of their humble and organic foundation. Rigo Landscaping provides service throughout Marin and Sonoma County and surrounding cities near the Bay Area.
